Cultural heritage in the Tarn et Garonne

The Museum showcases local ethnographic collections presented on the 1st floor and formed in the 1950s by The moissagaise Margarita Vidal (ceramics, costumes and furniture of Quercy, artisanal and agricultural tools...). Many works of literature on uvale city will be presented within the future Museum.

Several temporary exhibitions are presented within this area:

* Firmin Bouisset: famous illustrator of ads and poster artist, who has made known his illustrations, including the little girl of the Menier Chocolate or even the small schoolboy LU biscuits

* Notice of flood: exhibition photos on the facades, Gables and windows that offered a new perspective on Art Deco architecture, used for the reconstruction of some districts of the city after the floods of 1930

* Roofs stir... ssac: a fresh look at the roofs of Moissac heritage

" * The Pourtraict" , exhibition which is held during the summer 2011, helped the inhabitants to discover the ancient city through its first known image: "the pourtraict of Moissac", an engraving dated 1574. Aspects economic, social, political of the city from the 16th century have been addressed through painted, sculpted works, manuscripts and current media to assist in the interpretation.

The destination of the Abbatail Palace is currently being reflection as part of the redevelopment of the Abbey ensemble.
