The steelband "Pans on Fire" has been formed in late 2009, after the devastating Bush fires that destroyed the town of Marysville in February of the same year. Most of the members of the Group had lost their homes and everything they owned. Intended primarily as music therapy project using the 'steel pan', an instrument of Caribbean music, to help the villagers overcome the trauma of the fire, since 2009 the group "Pans on Fire" has come a surprising route.
